Reggie Garrett
Reggie Garrett joined Temple in January, 2016, as a graduate assistant working with the defense. He was hired into the full-time role of defensive analyst in January, 2018, and quickly promoted one month later to director of player personnel. Garrett has been named Director of On-Campus Recruiting for the 2019 season. 

Garrett arrived in Philadelphia after two seasons with Pace University as defensive backs coach. At Pace, he worked with the corners and safeties and also served as punt return coordinator. His responsibilities included film breakdown, formulating gameplans, teaching schemes and concepts, and running meetings and drills. Prior to his time with the Setters, he spent the 2013 season with the University of Rhode Island assisting with the cornerbacks.

A 2012 graduate of Norfolk State University, Garrett was originally a walk-on to the football team but earned a scholarship along the way to being named a senior captain. He was part of the Spartans’ 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship team and was vice president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Garrett earned his bachelor’s degree in building construction technology.

The Chesapeake, Va., native, started at quarterback and won numerous academic awards, including the Alonzo Mourning Student-Athlete Award, while attending Indian River High.
