Charlie Duccilli

Temple's all-time leading scorer in soccer at the time, Charlie Duccilli earned All-American honors. He was the top scorer during the 1965, 1966 and 1967 seasons when the Owls had a brilliant 35-6-3 record under the late Pete Leaness. He finished his career with 66 goals, netting 23 shots in 1967, 21 in 1966 and 22 in 1965. Temple had a 24-0 record in Middle Atlantic Conference competition during his stay and won three MAC Southern Division Championships. He starred at Germantown High School before coming to Temple. He played professional soccer for 10 years and was a member of the 1973 Philadelphia Atoms championship team. He was the head soccer coach at John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, NJ for 12 years, compiling a 135-56-19 record and winning nine championships. He was twice named South Jersey Coach of the Year.
