The camp will be directed by some of the top Division I college coaches on the east coast.
The camp emphasizes the technical and tactical aspects of the game, while placing the attendee in a Division I environment. It even has its own goalkeeping academy run by a former professional goalkeeper. With many collegiate coaches in attendance, there is a great opportunity to get recruited and gain valuable experience. In recent years, colleges in attendance include Temple University, Drexel University, La Salle University, Arcadia University etc. This year's camp will include an array coaches from other top division one universities on the east coast.
The camp staff will also include former Temple University players that are now playing among the professional ranks. The camp features special topics and lectures such as a college recruitment seminar, nutritionist lecture, and a sport psychologist discussion.
The college recruitment seminar will discuss to all the campers the most efficient ways about pursuing the right college in terms of level, how to be recruited, academics, location, size of school, and many other aspects. All high school juniors in attendance will receive individual meetings with the Temple coaching staff. These meetings will offer campers insight into how they are progressing and where they could possibly fit into the college game.
The nutritionist lecture will be given by a certified athletic trainer discussing the correct food to eat before and after a match, how to prepare your body for a game, and the do's and don'ts of food consumption to maintain peak performance.
The sport psychologist lecture will discuss the mental aspects of the game and how to cope with them. Some topics will include but are not limited to: Mental Toughness. Goal Setting. What do you do when you are having a bad game? How to mentally prepare for a game? How to have a productive self evaluation?
