Dingle Interview
PHILADELPHIA – Sophomore Daniel Dingle, who suffered a season-ending knee injury on Dec. 29, has had his medical hardship waiver approved and will be given a fifth-year of eligibility.
Dingle, who played in 10 games (2 starts) this past season, averaged 6.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists as the Owls' top reserve. The 6-7 guard/forward was coming off consecutive double figure scoring games (career-high 13 points vs. Texas Southern; 12 points vs. LIU-Brooklyn) before tearing his meniscus in his right knee during a practice session.
The Brooklyn, NY native (St. Raymond's) will be a redshirt sophomore during the 2014-15 season, extending his eligibility through the 2016-17 campaign.
