PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University women's gymnastics coaching staff has officially announced the signing of two gymnasts, Jaylene Everett and Daisy Todd, to National Letters of Intent.
Both gymnasts will be joining the Owls in August of 2016 and boast strong skill sets on all four events.

Everett hails from Souderton, Pa., and competes for Spirit Gymnastics Training Center in North Wales, Pa. She enters her senior year following an appearance at the Region 7 Level 10 Championship. Everett will come to Temple with four years of experience as a level 10 and will bring strength and skill to the Owls' vault and floor lineups. In 2015, Everett scored a 9.425 on floor exercise at the Pennsylvania Level 10 State Championships and a 9.35 on vault at the 2015 Buckeye Classic.

Todd, a native of Bethesda, Md., will join the Owls after training with Hills Gymnastics. In 2015, Todd closed out the year with a season-best all-around score of 36.7 and will arrive at Temple with four years of experience as a level 10 competitor. A strong bar worker, Todd earned a season best 9.4 on the event at the Northern Lights Classic in March, 2015.

The Owls begin their 2016 season on January 3 against Central Michigan.
