PHILADELPHIA - Head coach Geoff Collins added two more members to the 2017 Owls' football staff: Robert Calabrese and Josh Linam. Both coaches will enter their first year at Temple University.

Calabrese will serve as the team's offensive analyst this season. He comes from Wagner College, where he served as the team's running backs coach during the 2016 season and helped the Seahawks average 151.4 yards on the ground. Calabrese also has coaching experience as a graduate assistant for UCF from 2014-15, and quarterback coach for Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Fla., during the 2013 season. The East Islip, N.Y., native played quarterback and wide receiver for UCF from 2009-12 and first met Collins during his freshman year when Collins was the Knights' linebackers coach.

Linam will serve as the Owls' defensive analyst this season. He comes from the University of Florida where he served as a graduate assistant in 2016 under Collins. Linam also has previously coaching experience as a graduate assistant at UCF in 2015, and as a linebackers coach for Huntingdon College in Montgomery Ala., during the 2014 season. Like Calabrese, Linam played for UCF, as a linebacker from 2008-11 under Collins and has some NFL experience playing with the San Diego Chargers and the Miami Dolphins throughout the 2012 season.

Both Calabrese and Linam will have roles as analysts and also handle certain operational duties.
