TOWSON, Md. - In a defensive battle, Temple (3-3-1) ended up getting its first draw of the season, 0-0 against Towson (3-4-2). For the second straight match, the Owls' defense came up huge and held their opponent scoreless. Temple created a lot of chances on offense as well and attempted 15 shots throughout the course of the match.
Keys to the Match
>Sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Basileo kept the Owls in the match in the first half with three saves to keep Towson scoreless.
>The Owls were aggressive in the second half and outshot the Tigers, 7-6.
>In the 98th minute of the first overtime, Basileo made a huge save to keep Towson off the scoreboard.
>The Owls outshot the Tigers 3-1 in the final overtime period but could not get a goal.
