Charlotte, N.C. - Temple track and field freshman Aisha Brown reached a personal best mark to win the high jump title at the annual 49er classic hosted by UNC Charlotte. Overall the Owls pulled several top ten marks and personal bests on their second day of competition.

800m
> Helene Holm Gottlieb earned the silver in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:09.93

3000m
> Freshman Michelle Joyce clocked a time of 10:13.59 to make the top 10 (10th).

3000m Steeplechase
> Sophomore Grace Moore placed third overall with a time of 10:48.24.
> Freshman Lucy Jones and senior Katie Pinson placed the second and third highest in the event for Temple with times of 10:49.96 and 10:51.37, respectively.

4x400m
> Temple's 4x400-meter relay team finished the race in 3:49.91 to place sixth overall.

High Jump
> Brown's personal best mark of 1.78 m (5' 10") placed first out of all jumps.
> Freshman Kayla Nesbitt-McEwen came in at a tie for third with a mark of 1.63m.
