Women's Tennis Cruises Past Rider 6-0

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's tennis team improved to 8-7 on the season with today's 6-0 win over Rider in the first match of the year played at the TU Pavilion.
Playing with a full complement of players - sophomore Kristina Titova returned to the lineup today after missing the last two matches with a shoulder injury - the Owls dominated. No player dropped more than three games in any singles set, and the team took the doubles point in decisive fashion.
Temple will look to finish the regular season strong in weekend matches against Binghamton and Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday and Sunday before next week's American Athletic Conference Championship.
