Quotable
"It's tough having a two-facility meet. We did our best to out the pieces together and today, and it worked. This is the first time during my tenure at Temple that we have hosted a track meet, and the combination of a college and high school meet proved to be something that I want our program to continue to do every year. Our athletes really enjoyed the day. A number of our athletes reached new personal records or have shown continued improvement including Ebonee and Millie, and it was great to see many of our athletes take first place in their events. Over the next few weeks, we will be narrowing down who will be competing at our conference meet and although we have had some consistent scorers throughout the season, there is definitely an opportunity for growth in that group. Overall, I think today was a great day for our program and we look forward to hosting the Temple Owls Invitational for years to come." – Head coach Elvis Forde
