Michelle Finley Named Assistant Athletics Director of Ticket Operations

PHILADELPHIA - After many years at the University of Connecticut filling various roles in the athletics ticketing office, Michelle Finley has been hired as the Assistant Athletics Director, Ticket Operations at Temple.

"Michelle is very well respected within the ticketing industry and brings a ton of knowledge to Temple," said Scott Walcoff, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. "As we look to provide our fans with a seamless ticket buying experience using the latest in technology, she will play a large role in continuing our strong customer service efforts. We are thrilled to have Michelle join the Temple family."

Since a promotion in March of 2016, Finley served as the Director of Ticket Operations at UConn. She had primary responsibility for home, away and postseason ticketing for both the 11-time national champion women's basketball team and the Huskies' football team. Finley had previously spent three years as assistant director of ticket operations, and was a ticket office intern for three years before that.

"I am thrilled to join the Temple Owls' family," said Finley. "I look forward to the opportunity to work with the Temple administration to ensure our fans a good overall experience."

Finley earned her master's degree from UConn in business administration with a concentration in finance in 2017. She got her bachelor's degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts in 2010.

While at UMass, Finley was a four-year student-athlete for the women's track & field team, serving as team captain her junior and senior years.
