Brandon Anderson, an All-American and professional baseball player who played two seasons at Gloucester County College under current Temple head coach Rob Valli, has been named an assistant baseball coach for the Owls. Anderson is currently in his second season playing professional baseball for the Kalamazoo Kings of the Frontier League.
Any Temple student interested playing for the Owls baseball team should attend tryouts on Friday, September 19 at 5 PM at Skip Wilson Field on the Temple-Ambler Campus. All participants must have an athletic physical in order to tryout. More information below. Read More >

Four Temple baseball players - rising seniors Lenny DelGrippo, Carmen Del Mastro and Kyle Obal, and rising sophomore Byron McKoy - have been named to their respective summer league all-star teams. Del Grippo and Del Mastro are teammates on the Fort Collins Foxes of the Mountain Collegiate League, Obal suits up for the Rockville Express of the Cal Ripken, Sr., Collegiate Baseball League, while McKoy plays for the Carolina Thunder in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.
