  Eight Temple Gymnasts Named All-America Scholar Athletes

Eight members of the 2007-2008 Temple men's gymnastics team have been named All-American Scholar Athletes by the College Gymnastics Association over the weekend. Sophomore Robert Kay (3.900), junior Jon Vogtman (3.845), junior Jason Russo (3.803), senior Andy Corp (3.751), sophomore Jesse Kitzen -Abelson (3.667) and sophomore Patrick McLaughlin (3.500) were all named to the first team, while sophomore Tyler Croteau (3.460) and senior Sterling Kramer (3.377) were named to the second team.

Men's Gymnast Corp Awarded Prestigious Scholarship
 
Andrew Corp, a graduating senior on the Temple men's gymnastics team, has been awarded a prestigious scholarship under the Science, Mathematics and Research Program (SMART Program), which is managed by the Naval Postgraduate School on behalf of the Secretary of Defense.

Men's Gymnasts Vexler and Kramer Compete at US Qualifier
 
Competing at the qualifier for the US Championships, Temple gymnasts Luke Vexler and Sterling Kramer placed 14th and 18th in the all-around respectively at the event in Colorado Springs on Wednesday evening.

Men's Gymnastics Finishes Season at NCAA Championships
 
Senior Luke Vexler finished 13th in the all-around at the NCAA Championships while sophomore Scott Bloomfield finished 12th in the vault from the University of Stanford, highlighting the Cherry and White individual performers on Friday evening.
