Eric Mobley, who won 16 conference championships in four years as the head coach at The College of New Jersey, has been named the head men's and women's track and field coach at Temple University, director of athletics Bill Bradshaw announced today. The Philadelphia native (Central HS) also spent seven years as a Division I assistant, including two seasons as the top aide at Temple (2002-04).
Temple University head men's and women's track and field coach Stefanie Scalessa has submitted her resignation to pursue other professional opportunities, director of athletics Bill Bradshaw announced today. Senior Andrew Fries and sophomore Brad McFadden finished second in their events to lead Temple to a sixth place showing at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Championship at the University of Massachusetts on Sunday.
