Eight members of the 2007-2008 Temple men's gymnastics team have been named All-American Scholar Athletes by the College Gymnastics Association over the weekend. Sophomore Robert Kay (3.900), junior Jon Vogtman (3.845), junior Jason Russo (3.803), senior Andy Corp (3.751), sophomore Jesse Kitzen -Abelson (3.667) and sophomore Patrick McLaughlin (3.500) were all named to the first team, while sophomore Tyler Croteau (3.460) and senior Sterling Kramer (3.377) were named to the second team.
Juniors Christie McNeill, Winter Sneed, Natasha Crawford and Nina Oteri all advanced to the events finals as the Temple women's gymnastics team closed out the 2008 season while competing at the USAG Championships from Centenary College on Sunday afternoon. Read More >
Junior Christie McNeill finished tied for second place on the vault, helping the Temple women's gymnastics team post a score of 188.850 while competing at the USAG Championships at the Centenary College yesterday evening.
