Peyton Rieger, a junior from Woolwich, N.J., had a goal and an assist as Temple went 2-0, beating a pair of ranked opponents. On Friday against No. 18 Old Dominion in a BIG EAST game, the junior tracked down a long ball on the right side of the field, made a sharp turn along the baseline and delivered a perfect pass to set up the game-winning goal in overtime. The goal gave Temple its first win against ODU since 2016. On Sunday against No. 20 Monmouth, she tracked down a similar ball, keeping it in play just before it crossed the end line and beat the keeper, tying the game at 1-1 in an eventual 3-2 victory for the Owls.
