2026-27 Temple University Junior Owls Dance Team
The Junior Dance Team welcomes dancers in grades 6 through 12. All dancers will be taught technique, game day sidelines and choreography based on their individual skill level.

Evaluation Camp – Sunday, August 30 (9am-1pm)

- October 4, November 1 and December 6
- Game Choreography and Technique
- Temple University Volleyball – September 2026
- Halftime performance
- Temple University Football – October 2026
- 1 quarter of sidelines and halftime or timeout performance
- Temple University Women’s Basketball and Men’s Basketball – November and December 2026
- halftime and timeout performance
The Junior Owls Dance Team will perform at the Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team Nationals Send Off on January 10, 2027 (tentative rehearsal on January 2, 2027). All Junior Dance Team routines learned and performed at games during the season will be showcased.
FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
The total cost of participation for the 2026-27 season is $800 per dancer ($700 for children of Temple University/Temple Health employees and returning Junior Team members) and includes the following:
- Evaluation Camp plus Monthly practices
- 4 Game Performances, including free game admission for junior team members
- Team Uniform (including pom poms - option for male dancers) and t-shirt
- Team gear, including warm-up jacket, hoodie and backpack may be purchased at an additional cost.
