Albert Didriksen

One of the greatest all-around athletes in Temple sports history, Albert Didriksen starred in basketball, soccer and baseball. He earned total of eight letters at Temple and started in every sport. He just missed the 100 point plateau in basketball, finishing with 991 points to rank as Owls' 13th highest scorer at the time. He played soccer in 1952, 1953 and 1954 seasons. He earned soccer All-American honors in 1954. Lettered in baseball 1953 and 1954 seasons, he played outfield and first base. He was Co-Captain of basketball team two years. He was a star all-around athlete at Philadelphia's Frankford High School where he earned numerous honors. He played professional sports and also coached after graduation from Temple.
