Beverly Grove starred in lacrosse and field hockey while at Temple University. She was honored as All-College in United States Lacrosse for 1977, 1978, 1979 and 1980. She was named Temple's Most Valuable Player in Lacrosse for the 1977, 1978 and 1979 seasons and captained the team three years. During her career, she scored 165 points. In field hockey, she scored 72 points and was selected Temple's MVP for the 1977 and 1978 seasons. She was also rewarded team captain in 1978 and 1979. Temple achieved national prominence in both lacrosse and field hockey with the help of Beverly Grove. From her freshman year through her senior year, she started and played in every game in both sports.
