Bob Mizia

One of top return men and defensive backs in Temple football history, Bob Mizia helped the Owls post a 23-8 record over a three-year period in the mid-70s, including a 9-1 record in 1973 and 8-2 record during his junior year in 1974.
Mizia ranks fifth on the Owls’ all-time interception list with 11 and is tied with Temple Hall of Famer Anthony Young for third in school history with two career punt returns for touchdowns. His 88-yarder in a win over Villanova in his final game of his career ranks fifth in school history.
He is also second on Temple’s all-time career list in punt returns with 70, and third in punt return yards with 514.
