Chris Kerber

One of the most decorated rowers in the history of Temple Men’s Crew, Chris Kerber is a two-time world champion rower.
At Temple, he was a member of Owl crews that won four medals at the Dad Vail Regatta and the ladies plate at the Henley Royal Regatta. Â While competing outside of Temple, he was a two-time Pan-American Games gold medalist and won multiple U.S. National Championships. Â He also placed among the top six lightweight men for both the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and the 2000 Sydney Games, serving as an alternate in Atlanta.
He has served as the head coach of the Cornell lightweight men since 2008, leading his crews to IRA National Championships. He has been named IRA Coach of the Year four times since 2014 and recently was named to the coaching staff of the under 23 and Senior U.S National Teams.
