 An outstanding goalkeeper, Chrissy Muller Poplawski earned Brine/WCLA All-American honors in lacrosse three times. She made the first team in 1985 and 1987. She was named to the Brine/WCLA All-Region first team in 1986. She was a four-year starter as Temple compiled a 64-7 record. At the time she owned the Temple career record for goals against average with a 4.87 mark, was second in save percentage, .688, and ranks in several other categories. She played on the 1989 World Cup team that won the Gold Medal. She also played field hockey for three years at Temple.
