One of the most decorated women’s lacrosse players in Temple history, Claudia Ovchinnikoff was the National Attack Player of the Year and Temple Athlete of the Year as a senior. The three-time first team All-America honors helped lead Temple to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including spots in the national semifinals in 1997 and 1998.

A member of the United States Women’s Elite Lacrosse Team for several years, she ranks second all-time in Temple history in goals scored (227) and ground balls (168) and third in points (266).

A two-sport athlete at Temple, she was a three-time All-Region selection and four-year starter with the Owls’ field hockey team.

Claudia and her twin sister Alex were named to the list of 80 former players selected by Women’s Professional Lacrosse League legends celebration.
