One of top defensive specialists in Temple women’s volleyball history, Dr. Zenzile Johnson-Mendoza made 1,342 career digs, which was the third highest total at temple at the time of her graduation.
 
A first team All-Atlantic 10 performer in 1996, she helped Temple win 78 games in her career and make three Atlantic 10 Conference tournament appearances, finishing runner-up in the league in 1993.   She also was named honorable mention all-conference as a sophomore in 1994.
 
Currently she is a medical doctor in Detroit where she has been on the front lines dealing with Covid patients throughout the current pandemic.
