Director of Athletics at Temple University 1927-1952, Earl Yeomans led Temple to national recognition in athletics: Football-First Sugar Bowl Game January 1, 1935 and the Basketball-First NIT Championship 1937-1938. He was the leader in establishment of Eastern College Athletic Conference 1951. He was the winner of ECAC James Lynah Award 1963: (For outstanding contributions to athletics). He served as Assistant to the President of Temple 1952-1957 and served as Temple University Vice President 1957-1963.
