Evelyn Highley Hart

Evelyn Highley Hart's career in field hockey covered four seasons. She earned All-College right wing honors when the 1948-49 teams finished undefeated. She was a member of the swimming team from 1948-50. She was a four-year record for the squad of 17-7 and earned Eastern Intercollegiate Backstroke Championship all four years. A member of the Championship 150-Medley Relay team, she also served as team captain for the squad during her senior year in 1949-50. She received Temple University Award in 1950, as well as the Blazer Award and various individual team plaques. She earned official's rating in Hockey, Basketball and Swimming. She served as assistant field hockey coach at Pitman High School and was named the Head Coach at Hammonton High School. She taught health and Physical Education at Hammonton for 11 years.
