The fifth highest scorer in Temple history at the time, Granger Hall scored 1,652 points while playing in 115 games. A three-time All-American, he held the Temple record for field goal percentage by making 54.5 percent of his shots. He also held the Temple records for free throw made (482) and attempted (688). He was credited with 781 rebounds and led the Temple rebounders in three different seasons. He was selected as the 1985 Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year and was picked the Most Valuable Player in the A-10 Tournament as the Owls won the championship. He was inducted into the Big 5 Hall of Fame in 1991 and made the All-Big 5 first team three times. He was drafted by Phoenix in the fourth round of the NBA draft.
