Karen Gendron Adams

Honored for her athletic, coaching and administrative achievements, Karen Gendron Adams competed in five varsity sports at Temple. She was selected to All-College honorable mention team as a member of the undefeated 1961 field hockey team. In 1962, she was also a member of the third place intercollegiate relay team. As a junior, she made third team All-College and basketball and tennis for the Cherry and White. She was given the Four-year varsity field hockey award, the Temple Plaque and the Temple Blanket Award. She coached volleyball and tennis after graduation. A 1965 Temple graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. She and her family became the first to bicycle across the United States. Her greatest satisfaction comes from working with student-athletes and sharing her knowledge of sports with them.
