Kevin Ross was an outstanding defensive back for Temple from 1980 to 1983. At the time, he was tied for third in pass interceptions (13), was second in fumbles recovered (5) and was also tied for first in fumbles recovered in a game with three against Cincinnati in 1983. He was co-captain of the 1983 team. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984 and starred in professional football for 14 years. Besides Kansas City (1984-93, 97), he also played for the Atlanta Falcons (1994-95) and the San Diego Chargers (1996). He was elected to play in the 1990 and 1991 NFL Pro Bowl.
