Louise Lenco Esher

Lettered in hockey, softball and basketball for four years at Temple, Louise Lenco Esher was the captain of the basketball team in 1950. She set a Temple and Eastern League scoring record at the time with 185 points in one season. She was apart of the All-college Field Hockey first team and in 1953 made all-Philadelphia First Team and received honorable mention on sectional and national teams. She was a member of the College of Education Alumni Board for 25 years. She was the organizer and first president of Owlette Alumni Club and served on the Hall of Fame Selection Committee for two years. She received General Alumni Association Certificate of Honor from College of Education and was the first president of Alumnae Club for Women's Athletics.
