Lynn Blaszczyk Petruzzelli

Geralyn “Lynn” Blaszczyk Petruzzelli is known to be one of the finest all-around players in Temple history. As an amazing milestone, she achieved the third highest scorer in Temple women's basketball by scoring 1,329 points, was Temple's No. 2 all-time rebounder at the time and with 949, she shared the Temple one game rebound record of 23 against East Strousburg in 1979 at the time. In all four years, Lynn made the Philadelphia Big 5 all-star team and was inducted into the Big 5 Hall of Fame in 1990. Named to the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American team and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Lynn also became a member to the Eastern High School (Gibbsboro, NJ) Hall of Fame. She went on to play professional basketball in Frankfurt, Germany (1983-84) where she averaged 17 points a game.
