Marie Schmucker

For both field hockey and lacrosse, Marie Schmucker won All-American honors. With her outstanding performance, she led Temple to the 1984 NCAA Lacrosse Championship and was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament when she scored the game's final three goals to give Temple a 6-4 victory over Maryland. In her collegiate career, she ranked No. 2 among Temple's goal scorers at the time with 211. As a first team All-American in 1984 she scored 88 points that season. She also received the field hockey All-American honors in 1981. She coached lacrosse at West Chester State University for three years and has also coached at other high schools.
