Marilyn Stephens-Franklyn

As the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in Temple Women's Basketball history, Marilyn Stephens-Franklyn scored 2,194 points and pulled down 1,516 rebounds in her career. In 1984, she was selected for the Kodak All-American basketball team. She was a two-time Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Year and was inducted into the Big 5 Hall of Fame in 1989 after making the first all-star team four straight years. She was also the Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Year in 1983 and 1984. She was a member of the US Women's Junior Olympic team in 1981 and was invited to the US Olympic trials in 1984. After graduation, she played professional basketball overseas in Italy and Spain. Upon her return to the states, she became an assistant coach at Temple. She has earned her master's degree.
