Michael Moore was a four-year member of the Temple University varsity crew and captain of the 1993 team. He earned four Dad Vail medals and competed with Temple in the Henley Royal Regatta in 1989 and 1990. He was Temple crew's first Olympian, selected to cox the men's eight at the 1992 Barcelona Games. After leading the Owls to the Dad Vail Championship in 1991, he was picked for the U.S. senior national team. He represented the U.S. in the Worl Rowing Championships in Vienna, Austria. Besides his Dad Vail gold medals, he left the Owls to four Murphy Cup, Kerr Cup and Knecht Cup Championships. He was selected to the U.S. Junior National Rowing Team in 1988.
