Outstanding as an all-around athlete at Temple, Mike Jarmoluk became a professional football standout, He was recently selected to the Philadelphia Eagles all-time team. He earned letters in four sports at Temple; football, basketball, wrestling and track. He was selected for the 1945 Blue-Gray game and played the entire game. He was a 10 year veteran of the National Football League. He was on the World Championship teams with 1946 Chicago Bears and 1949 Eagles and was team captain of the Eagles for three years. He played in the 1954 Pro Bowl. He coached football at Lansdale Catholic High School five seasons. He earned numerous honors at Philadelphia's Frankford High School and made All State in football and All Scholastic in Basketball after leading City in scoring.
