Undefeated in four years of dual meet wrestling competition against outstanding opposition, Pete Bernardino co-captained the Owls as a senior. Pete starred at Upper Darby High School before coming to Temple and was the unbeaten District champion. He returned to Upper Darby High as head wrestling coach after his graduation from Temple and had a brilliant record from 1946 through 1965.
