Steve Juenger competed in basketball, football and track at Temple from 1933-37. He played on the 1935-36 quintet that reached the finals of the Olympic trials. Steve earned three letters in basketball and was named to the All-Eastern Conference Team as a senior when he co-captained. He played professional basketball with Reading, Paterson and Washington. He was awarded nine letters in basketball, football and track at South Philadelphia High School and was inducted into that institution's Hall of Fame. He has been a highly-regarded football and basketball official, having worked the National Invitational Tournament and the Cotton Bowl during his career. Steve has coached football and baseball at Haverford High School with great success.
