Thomas Hanson played under the late Heinie Miller 1927-1930. He scored 29 points in one game in 1927 and was the second leading single season scorer at the time in Temple's history (80 points) in 1927. He led Temple to 27-8-3 record during his career. He was Temple's first football player to gain national recognition and was an honorable mention All-American. He played professional football for the Philadelphia Eagles.
