As one of the finest offensive lineman in the history of Temple football, Tre Johnson was a three-time All-Big East selection. He earned third team All-American honors as a senior. He was a finalist for The Lombardi Award and played in the 1993 Senior Bowl. The 1994 Temple graduate was the first Big East Conference player selected in the 1994 National Football League draft when the Washington Redskins picked him in the second round. The Peekskill, NY native had an outstanding NFL career, highlighted by his selection to the 2000 Pro Bowl. While starring for Peekskill High, he earned All-League, All-County and All-Section honors in football and track.
