Men's Gymnastics Lands Third Place Finish in West Point Open

Philadelphia (January 7) - The Temple Men's Gymnastics team finished third on Friday in the West Point Gymnastics Meet. The Owls completed the meet with a final score of 212.400 under Penn State (222.850) and UMass (213.900).

Senior Michael Moran finished third in the All-Around (53.950), first on the high bar (9.650) and first on the still rings

(9.650) while freshman Alex Weber finished fourth all-around with 53.800. Weber also tied for fourth in the floor

exercise (9.500), third on pommel horse (9.550) and fourth on the vault (9.500). Freshman Richie McGuire also

contributed with a second place finish on the vault (9.550).

Temple will travel to University Park, Pa. on Saturday, January 22 to face the Nittany Lions at 7:00 p.m.
