Temple Men's Gymnastics Bring Home First Place

Philadelphia, Pa.-- Temple Men's Gymnastics won this weekend to William
& Mary. The Owls outscored the Tribes 214.250-212.800.
Temple finished each event with a score of 36.850 in the floor
exercise, 35.850 on the pommel horse, 34.700 on rings, 36.550 on the
vault, 34.350 on the bars and a 35.950 on the horizontal bar.
Senior Mike Moran finished first in the all-around with a 55.800 and
first in the floor exercise (9.550), still rings (9.550) and horizontal
bar (9.650). He also finished fourth on pommel horse (9.200) and vault
(9.200) and third on the bars (8.650). Freshman Alex Weber finished
third with an all-around score of 51.800 with a second place finish in
the floor exercise (9.350).
The Owls will compete against Army in McGonigle Hall on Saturday,
February 5 at 2:00 p.m.
