Temple Gymnast Richie McGuire Named to 2001 Maccabiah Team

PHILADELPHIA - Temple's Richie McGuire has been chosen for the 2001 Maccabiah team that will compete in Israel next summer. McGuire a sophomore won the ECAC vault title last year and competed in both the NCAA and USA Championships qualifiers.

McGuire hails from New Rochelle, New York where he trained at the International School of Gymnastics under the coaching tutelage of Joe Stallone and Constantin Petruscu.

The Owls' first regular season meet will take place January 19th at the West Point Open in West Point, NY.
