Men's Gymnastics Places Second at U.Mass Open

PHILADELPHIA (December 2) - Temple men's gymnastics team place second overall at the Massachusetts Open finishing behind only the host team of U.Mass in a field that consisted of seven collegiate teams

The Owls were led by two underclassmen freshman Travis Kitchen from Berkley, Missouri finish first on the parallel bars and sophomore Alex Weber from Kutztown, Pennsylvania place first in the horizontal bars.

Entering into his 25th season head coach Fred Turoff sports an impressive career record of 267-111. The U.Mass Open is considered a preseason meet for the Owls.
