Men's Gymnastics Takes Second Place Against Navy

Philadelphia, Pa.-- Temple Men's Gymnastics lost last week to Navy with a final score of 215.550-213.425. Leaders for the Owls
included freshman Alex Weber with a second all-around finish of 53.450. Weber also landed a third place on the floor exercise
(9.050) and second place on the pommel horse (9.450).
Sophomore Brian Munn had an impressive second place finish on the rings
with a 8.90, while freshman Theo Maes finished first on the vault with a 9.350. Freshman Richard Maguire finished first place on the
parallel bars (9.450) and first on the horizontal bar (9.350).
This past weekend the Owls participated in the Winter Cup Challenge at the All-American Sports Park in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Former Temple Owl and assistant coach for the Owls, Kenny Sykes landed a 21st all-around finish and a second place finish on the
floor exercise while freshman Alex Weber finished 40th all-around.
Temple will compete against James Madison on Saturday, February 19 in McGonigle Hall at 3:oo p.m.
