Men's Gymnastics Finishes First Against James Madison

Philadelphia, Pa.-- The Temple men's gymnastics team beat James Madison in the Owls' second home meet on Saturday in
McGonigle Hall. Temple won the meet outscoring the Dukes 210.300-193.400.
Freshman Richie Maguire had an impressive finish landing first in the all-around with a 54.100. Maguire also placed first on the
floor exercise with a 9.250, first on the vault with a 9.600, first on the parallel bars with a 9.550 and first on the horizontal bar with a
8.950. Freshman Theo Maes finished second on the vault with a 9.450 while freshman Jason Moresi finished second on the
horizontal bar with a 8.750. Junior Rob Chacon also contributed with a second place finish on the floor exercise with a 8.950.
The Owls will compete on Sunday February 27 at 3:00 p.m. in McGonigle Hall for their last home meet against UMass and
Springfield.
