Weber Named ECAC Gymnast of the Week

PHILADELPHIA (Feb. 11) - Sophomore gymnasts Alex Weber was named ECAC Gymnast of the Week for

the week ending February 4th. Weber helped the 13th ranked Owls to a season high team total of 202.650 in wins over Army and Southern Connecticut.

Weber led the Owls with a double victory. He placed first in the pommel horse (8.70) and completed the double with a score of 8.60 on the horizontal bars. Weber hails from Kutztown, Pa and attended Kutztown High School. Weber trained at the Gymnastrum; International School of Gymnastics under coaches Joe Stallone and Constantin Petruscu.

The nationally ranked (8-2) Owls will host William & Mary and Penn State on Saturday, February 17th at 3pm in McGonigle Hall.
