13th Ranked Owls Roll to Wins Over Army and Southern Connecticut

PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's gymnastic team overall score of 202.650 help them breeze by Southern Connecticut (191.200) and edge host Army (201.100) on Saturday February 3rd. The two wins raised the Owls'record to 8-2 overall.

Sophomore Alex Weber placed first in two events completing a double that led the Owls to victory. Weber's score of 8.70 earned him first on the pommel horse. Weber captured his second first place performance on the horizontal bars with a score of 8.60.

The Owls (8-2) will next visit Las Vegas to participate in the Winter Cup Challenge on February 9-10. The meet starts at 2pm on Friday and 6pm on Saturday.
