Men's Gymnastics Assistant Coach Tom Gibbs Earns Conference Honors

PHILADELPHIA (Mar. 28) - Temple men's gymnastics assistant coach Tom Gibbs was named The ECAC Assistant Coach of the Year. Gibbs is in his fourth consecutive year as the Owl assistant.

He also served as assistant coach in 1985-86 and 1969-70. In between coaching assignments, Gibbs served as a judge for international meets, Olympic Trials and Five NCAA national championships. He was captain of Temple's 1968 team that won the EIGL championships and went on to the NCAAs.
