NO. 10-RANKED TEMPLE MEN'S GYMNASTICS TEAM DEFEATS SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT IN BATTLE OF THE OWLS

The Temple Owls, ranked 10th nationally, defeated the Southern Connecticut Owls, 202.750-193.500 in a men's gymnastics dual meet held in New Haven Connecticut on Sunday, February 24. The Owls swept all six events of the competition.
Individually, Temple had three event victories among three competitors. Junior Adam Owens won pommel horse with a 9.200 score. Sophomore Zach Hanson-Hart captured the vault with a 9.050 effort. Junior Richie Maguire posted the competition's best score on horizontal bar with a 8.550 showing.
The Owls did not have any competitors compete in the all-around.
Temple, under the direction of 26th-year head coach Fred Turoff, returns to action Thursday, March 7, in a 7 p.m. tri-meet at Stanford University
