MEN'S GYMNASTICS:OWLS ARE IMPRESSIVE IN WEST POINT OPEN

WEST POINT, NY-The Temple men's gymnastics team captured a first and third in the pommel horse. The Owls added a second on the floor and all around and rounded out the competition with a third on the rings and parallel bars at the 12th Annual West Point Gymnastics Open at Christl Arena in the individual competitions on Saturday, January 12.
Temple's seniors Jason Moresi, Alex Weber, Kevin Hallinan, Adam Owens and Richie Maguire placed in the top three in one of the individual competitions except the vault and horizontal bars. Moresi placed first (8.750) and Owens added a third place finish (8.60) on the pommel horse. Weber placed second in the all-around (51.400), Maguire placed second on the floor (8.900) and added a third place finish on the rings (9.20). Hallinan placed third on the parallel bars.
Temple (3-1)next will host James Madison on Sunday,January 26 at 1p.m. in McGonigle Hall.
